01 Open Your Score Report in myPTE

After a PTE test, it is easy to keep checking your inbox. You have left the test centre, but every phone notification brings back the same question: is the result ready yet?
Pearson sends an email when your Score Report is available. To view the result, sign in to your myPTE account at mypte.pearsonpte.com using the account you used to book the test.
Look for a View Score button on the homepage and select it to open your report.
If you do not see that button on the homepage, go to My Activity. Find the record for the test you took and select View Score beside it.
Pearson’s official scoring help page describes both routes. Button placement can change as the site is updated, so use the record for the correct test as your guide.
If your account shows more than one test, check the date and test type before opening a report. That quick check helps you avoid mixing up results from different attempts. Once the Score Report appears, review the overall score and the individual skill scores before deciding whether to save it or send it.
Pearson says most PTE Academic results are available within about two business days, and advises candidates to allow up to five business days for processing. While you wait, check your myPTE account and the email address used for registration. Practice scores from a preparation platform are useful for study, but your official result is the Score Report in myPTE.
02 Save a PDF or Send Your Score to an Institution

You can view your Score Report online and download a PDF copy to keep for your own records. Pearson’s help page explains that a PDF can be downloaded from the report page. A saved copy can be handy when you organise application documents or review your result later.
Saving a PDF and sending an official score to an institution are different steps. If an institution asks for an official score, return to My Activity in myPTE, select Send Scores beside the relevant test, search for the institution, choose the matching result, and follow the prompts to confirm the request. Use the institution name shown in your application instructions to find the right entry.
After you send the score, myPTE provides confirmation. Pearson says it can take around 48 hours for the institution to see a score after it has been sent.
If your application deadline is close, include that processing time in your plan. Check the institution’s own requirements for the accepted test, required scores, and submission deadline.
Your Score Report also includes a Score Report Code. If an application specifically asks for the code, provide it as instructed.
If it asks for an official submission through Pearson’s online system, use the Send Scores process in myPTE. Read the form carefully to see whether it asks for a code, a copy for your records, or an official score sent through the account.
Keep the report and sending confirmation together with the application you are preparing. If you have taken the test more than once, choose the attempt that matches the score you plan to use. Saving the confirmation email or account record also makes it easier to follow up without reconstructing the process from memory.
03 Troubleshoot a Result That Is Not Showing

If there is no email a few days after your test, check your spam or junk folder. Pearson’s official PTE Academic guidance recommends checking these folders if a result has not arrived after five working days. You can also sign in to myPTE and check the test record under My Activity.
If more than five working days have passed and there is still no notification, contact Pearson through its help centre so its support team can check the status. Have your registered email address, test date, and relevant test details ready, and describe what the account currently shows. Keep your password private when contacting support.
If you received an email saying the report is ready but cannot open it, Pearson recommends trying again later. The help page says that when a report temporarily cannot display a candidate photo, the score should be available within the next 24 hours. If the issue remains after that, contact Pearson through its support form and include the message you see and the test record it relates to.
If you cannot remember your username or password, start with the account recovery options on the myPTE sign-in page. When you use several email addresses, check which one received your booking confirmation and try that account first. Your report is connected to the myPTE account used for the test.
Once you have the result, you can use the skill scores to decide what to practise next. YoushowPTE offers practice across the four PTE skills, AI feedback for Speaking and Writing, mock tests, and study data for review.
Visit https://pte.youshowedu.com/en to explore the platform. Its feedback and mock results support preparation, while Pearson’s Score Report remains the official result for your test.
The path is simple once you know where each step belongs: an email tells you the report is ready, myPTE opens it, My Activity helps you find the right test, and the account lets you save or send the result. Waiting can make every inbox refresh feel significant, but knowing where to look helps you move on to the next step.
