How to plan a safe PTE timeline

Pearson requires test takers to arrive at least 30 minutes before the appointment. PTE Academic is completed in a single session of approximately two hours.

Results are usually available within two days, but Pearson says they can take up to five working days. This planner shows both dates and uses the longer window when checking your application deadline.

Extra review can occasionally take longer than five working days, so high-stakes applications should keep more time than the minimum shown here.
