What this PTE Essay and Writing Checker measures

For Write Essay, Pearson awards full Form credit at 200–300 words. Responses from 120–199 or 301–380 words lose Form credit, while fewer than 120 or more than 380 words receive zero for the item.

For Summarize Written Text, the response must be one full sentence between 5 and 75 words. Pearson also advises beginning with a capital letter and ending with one full stop.

This tool checks mechanical form and gives a small structure reminder. It cannot score content, grammar, vocabulary, development, coherence or plagiarism.

How many words should Summarize Written Text contain?

Does this tool give a PTE writing score?

No. It checks mechanical Form requirements only. A real score also depends on content and multiple language traits.
